Hey Scott! Wow, I just saw that you brought this blog back. Forgive the long comment, I just wanted to glaze you a bit for the impact you had on me:
I followed your blog religiously during the later half of my high school years, around '06 - '08. It provided me with a sense of community I couldn't find elsewhere. I loved getting glimpses into the New York scene I never experienced firsthand. Your storytelling ability always captivated me, the photos you posted were hot, and your politics rants were always epic. I went to college on a full tuition scholarship after that, and I think you ended the blog around that time.
Now, I'm not sure if we have diverged politically as I'm a hardcore leftist and Hasanabi head who has a lot of disdain for our feckless neoliberal Democratic Party leadership who refuse to resign or step aside despite being very out of touch and seeming like they don't care about the extreme inequality that threatens every institution we have, including democracy itself. They certainly don't seem to be doing a good job at the moment, opposing Trump and Musk. You are one of the many people who helped radicalize me to hate Republicans, haha. Anyway, It seems like you stopped posting, so I just wanted to let you know that I still appreciate you. Peace and Love always.
